Welcome to the Red Rose Inn in Historic Bardstown, Kentucky. We are located downtown at 209 East Stephen Foster Avenue. The name came from the songwriter Stephen Collins Foster song “Ah, May The Red Rose Live Always”. Come in and stay in our 1820 Late Victorian Style Bed & Breakfast. It is on the “National Register of Historic Places”. The Red Rose Inn has five decorative fireplaces. Master Craftsman Alexander Moore had a hand in designing and building some of the fireplaces for the Red Rose Inn. Moore was a well known craftsman that was involved in the building of Federal Hill, “My Old Kentucky Home”. We have four beautiful large guest rooms with private baths. You can sip your coffee or cocktail on the back deck overlooking a large yard with Koi pond or on the front porch planning your visit. Once you settle in, you’re only steps away from our beautiful downtown and all it has to offer. There is plenty of shopping, restaurants, and nightlife. Guest will be treated to a delicious homemade country breakfast as well as snacks, water or soft drinks. You won’t start your day hungry!

A Great Find!
Party of 4 adults from Scotland making their first visit to Kentucky. Bardstown is a beautiful place and The Red Rose Inn made our visit all the more special. The breakfasts are outstanding especially when you have the added delight of enjoying breakfast on the large deck at the rear of the Inn. The Inn itself is excellent and positioned right smack in the middle of town. Rooms are large, well appointed and maintained. Extra special was wee Rosie, King Charles spaniel, who kept us amused with her antics. Cannot recommend The Red Rose Inn too highly. Thank you for a thoroughly enjoyable experience.
well-appointed
