Though many consider New England to be the country's primary fall foliage destination, there are a number of reasons to plan a fall escape to Kentucky's colorful countryside instead.  Here, you'll find vast swathes of forested land, making Kentucky one of the best places in the country to view fall's colorful display.  In fact, nearly 47 percent of Kentucky's land is covered in such forests, all with 175 different species of trees to enjoy during the crisp fall months.  Book a getaway at any of our Kentucky Inns, and come enjoy the vibrant shades of red, the fiery blaze of orange, and the bright pops of yellow and gold this fall.
