Once called the J.B. Speed Memorial Museum, the Speed Art Museum is a remodeled, well-organized place to go if you're interested in culture. The exhibits change out often, so there's always something new to see. You can also grab lunch at the museum's cafe called Wiltshire at the Speed.
This museum provides an eye-opening experience to the unique designs one can do with quilts. Every quilt is different there. If you're not able to go to the museum in person, you can always look at their online exhibits.
The University of Kentucky College of Fine Arts houses small yet meaningful exhibits that come from artists with different backgrounds. Feel free to visit more than once as the exhibitions change often.
