When it comes to visiting wineries, Kentucky may not be the first, or even second, destination to jump to mind. That's fair. Regions like California's Napa Valley or Oregon's Willamette Valley have been dominant when it comes to U.S. wine production.  That's changing though, and Kentucky is one state that's coming out ahead of the pack.
