Fall Colors in KentuckyThough we’re sad to see what has been a remarkable summer in Kentucky come to an end, we can assure you that fall is a beautiful time of year to visit Kentucky. Across the state, Bed and Breakfasts and Inns are gearing up for another exciting fall. Though many consider New England to be the country’s primary fall foliage destination, there are a number of reasons to plan a fall escape to Kentucky’s colorful countryside instead. Here, you’ll find large stretches of untouched wilderness.  In fact, nearly 47 percent of Kentucky’s land is covered in such forests.  Within those forests, you’ll find at least 175 different species of trees to enjoy during the crisp fall months, each of which reacts to the temperature and light conditions of Autumn in their own special way.  Book a getaway at any of our Kentucky Inns, and come enjoy the vibrant shades of red, the fiery blaze of orange, and the bright pops of yellow and gold with us this fall.
