The Lost River Cave Takes you Underground

Kentucky's Lost River Cave is one of the most unique cave systems in the state. The biggest attraction at the Lost River Cave is the boat tour, which is the only of its kind in the entire state. The boat tour takes approximately 45 minutes and takes you through a cathedral-like cave. Beyond the boat tour and exploring the caves, there are a variety of things to do at the Lost River Cave. Take the time to explore the grounds, hike through the nature center, visit the natural springs, admire the limestone bluffs, and explore the remnants of old mining buildings.

If you're looking for something a little more adventurous to do during your trip, try zip lining! There are two different zip lines; the Flying Squirrel and the Lightning Bug. The Flying Squirrel Zipline is for older kids and adults and features 3 zip lines starting from the top of an 80-foot bluff.
