Victorian House Bed & Breakfast

This home, built in 1885, by William H. Cooke, a prominent businessman and farmer, is on the National Register of Historic Places.  The home touts solid brick walls, 8 French cast iron fireplaces, a split staircase, heart pine flooring and victorian style architecture.  

If you are a AAA member, Senior Citizen, Corvette Owner or active military you will receive a 10% discount.  If you stay 3 or more nights you will receive a 15% discount.  We hope you come to stay.

Each Room has been lovingly restored, with a private bath, King size beds, cable TV, sitting area and period antiques.  A common area downstairs has a 36" large screen TV and fireplace.  

Victorian House has been featured as the "perfect romantic getaway".  Rooms are named after "Gone with the Wind" charactars and you will see memorabilia from that movie throughout the home.  The rural small town atmosphere and the historic setting are a perfect combination for a memorable experience.  After a restful evening you will wake up to a freshly cooked hot country breakfast.

A large cast iron fountain, antique wrought iron fence and a rock garden await you outside.  Mature Oak trees surround the stately mansion, which is situated on 2 acres.  

The Smith Grove Historic District, on the National Register of Historic Places, has several antique shops and all are within walking distance.

Bowling Green, with numerous restaurants is 15 minutes away.  Mammoth Cave National Park and the Corevette Museum and Assembly Plant are major stops on your route and are just minutes away.
