Completed in the late 1830's, elegant but inviting A Storybook Inn Bed and Breakfast is upscale in every way. Nestled amid lush grounds, the main house ushers visitors into a stately fanned window entrance foyer where they are warmly made welcome as they have been for over 160 years. From the moment they step in the door, guests smile with delight. Oil paintings and beautiful antiques and upscale furnishings and fresh flowers fill the house, but it is not a stuffy sense one gets but a wonderfully inviting sense of place.

Our guests can enjoy leisurely gourmet breakfasts or healthy alternatives customized for our guests with special dietary needs. Guests may dine in our exquisite Tuscan gold dining room with deep original coffered ceiling. Or you may dine on the Fern and antique wicker bedecked, 34 foot long Victorian covered veranda facing the old stone and Rose gardens. Read the morning paper on the extra long wicker swing on the porch while sipping freshly ground gourmet quality coffee or fresh squeezed juice or lemonade. Homemade goodies daily and refreshments available at all times. The very tastefully done Classical movie themed suites at Storybook Inn have exceptional appointments, top of the line bedding, private baths, armoires with satellite TV/ VCR/DVD, fresh flowers or live Orchids. And, at over 7,000 sq. ft., Storybook Inn also features a working elevator for heavy luggage or weary travelers!
