1851 Historic Maple Hill Manor B&B and Alpaca & Llama Farm

Voted 'Kentucky's Best B&B', #1 in the U.S. as the B&B with the 'Most Historic Charm', 'Best Breakfast in the Southeast', AND "Best B&B in the South", "USA TODAY Top 10 B&B Farmstay for a Haycation", Voted "Top 10 Innkeepers in the U.S", and "Top B&B in Kentucky for Hospitality and Service."

Just minutes from Bardstown - less than an hour's drive from Lexington or Louisville AND Two hour's drive from Cincinnati or Nashville.

Thomas Irvine McElroy built this beautiful Greek Revival Plantation Home on 949 acres and presented it as a Wedding Gift to his young bride, Sarah Jane Maxwell.

Lavished with numerous architectural features, it is accented with Italianate detail, spans over 7,000 sq. ft., with 14' ceilings, 12' doorways, 9' windows, 13 original rooms - most are 20' x 20' with some even larger, and a grand cherry floating spiral staircase

1851 Historic Maple Hill Manor's colorful past includes stories of an Antebellum Plantation, use as a Civil War Confederate Encampment & Union Hospital, the Childhood Home to Phil Simms - former NY Giants Quarterback and Super Bowl XXI's MVP, a popular Dinner Hall, and Children's Home. Today it is a nationally-recognized Bed & Breakfast, Wedding/Special Events Showplace, Alpaca & Llama Farm, and Handcrafted Gift Gallery & Alpaca Fiber Studio.

This working farm is stately set on 15 tranquil acres, located on Central Kentucky's Bourbon Trail. The home is considered one of the best preserved Antebellum Homes in the Commonwealth.

For your comfort, each of the seven guest rooms are air conditioned and have private baths in the rooms. Guest rooms are spacious, antique-appointed, and elegantly decorated. Ideally suited for romantic escapes, Girlfriend getaways, special occasion celebrations, Murder Mysteries, Spa Treatments, or much needed rest and relaxation.

Awaken to the delightful strains of chamber music and the wafting aromas of freshly brewed coffee and hot-from-the-oven muffins, as the day begins with a specially prepared breakfast served on fine china in the dining room. An award-winning Full Country 'Gourmet' Breakfast is normally served between 8-10:00 a.m.

If we do not have availability on your desired dates, please consider staying at our sister property, Bourbon Manor Bed & Breakfast Inn in downtown Bradstown: www.bourbonmanor.con.

We didn't really know what to expect, having never stayed at a bed and breakfast before. We'd gone onto the website beforehand to look at the photos and choose the room (the Lincoln LIbrary), but still weren't sure what it would be like. In a matter of moments upon our arrival, we were overly impressed. The view of the house from the drive, the sweet alpacas, the views, and then the house itself - all created an experience that was both intimate and extraordinary, calming and invigorating. We will definitely return. It was beautiful.

Todd and Tyler are class all the way. The house, our room, the food, their hospitality…everything was first class. My wife and I stayed at MHM for our 14th wedding anniversary, and could not have picked a better spot. We will be back!

Maple Hill Manor is the ultimate in a bed and breakfast experience. Todd and Tyler were the most hospitable and gracious hosts you could ever hope to have. The rooms, service and atmosphere were exceptional! I want to go back now!

Just Awesome! so much fun for my frist Band B! One of the best overnight stays you will have. I stayed at Maple Hill Manor B & B while I toured the Kentucky Bourbon Trail with my girlfriend Katie. Todd and Tyley where just great, even catered to Katie's gluten allergy. It sits on a great piece of land, enjoyed both their company outside as they shared stories of this great property. You are missing out if you don’t stay here. A real treat!!

All aspects of our stay was above our expectations. Even the other guests were enjoyable and inviting with communication. Very relaxing and felt very comforable in all areas of this historic home. Enjoyed the atmosphere, walking the grounds, and sleeping in a comforable bed. Already booked another night in December and have invited our friends to join us. Tyler and Todd are awesome host.
