Spring will be even more spectacular at First Farm Inn with the addition of our “Cool Blue Garden” created from stumps and rocks collected on the farm. While 100s of daffodils have always surrounded the house and yards, we’ve divided them and planted LOTS of new varieties of crocuses, hyacinths... Breathe in the flowers at Eden Park’s Conservatory. Explore Boone County’s Arboretum. Walk around the incredible Spring Hill Cemetery. Visit Big Bone Lick State Park where the largest collection of mammoth and mastodon bones ever found in the U.S. were discovered in the 1720s. Hike the path to see the bison and check out the little museum and the outdoor diorama. Stop by Dinsmore Homestead and learn about farming in the 1840s. Continue down KY 18 to Historic Rabbit Hash General Store and see how shopping was done in the 1830s, skip stones in the Ohio River, check out the log cabin, taste some regional wines, enjoy some pulled pork and shop a bit.
